A pre-meeting workshop exclusively for students (graduate, PhD, MD, etc.) and post-doctoral fellows will be offered this year on Wednesday, 24 September, the day before our Annual Scientific Meeting in Kumamoto, Japan. This workshop is a unique opportunity to present your current research to your peers and experienced ISEH faculty (posters and selected talks) and has ample opportunity to network with your peers and faculty who will become your future colleagues.
All Ph.D. students and postdoctoral fellows are encouraged to attend and participate in the pre-meeting Workshop. All participants are invited to present a poster to receive feedback from the poster judges. Up to 6 talks will be selected from participant abstracts submitted to the main meeting. There will be prizes for the best short talk and posters, with the best short talks receiving $125 USD, and the top three posters receiving $100 USD each. The best short talk from the workshop will also be granted a speaking slot in the main meeting program!
Make sure to sign up when you register for the conference to secure your place. Space is limited and last-minute registration will not be possible.
